Called by dedicated member and reformer El Gnome aka Aurokia who will preside over as mediator as indicated by him on the RMB. This summit will include The moderators (Zeryx, Du Vin, Retiva), The German Iron Lands, El Gnome, Sparkdottir, and anyone else invited by the mediator. This is meant to be a peaceful summit to accomplish everlasting reform, a goal made clear by the mediator.
This summit will be civil as stated by the mediator.

The regional co founder wishes to express his concern over the future of the region's structure of which he hopes will be addressed in this summit alongside who in the end shall possess the ability to access the founder account. The co founder additionally pledges his support of this summit's findings and actions and will cooperate to the fullest.

I'd agree except for the fact that I am, or at least I should be at this point, the only founder with authority left in the region. In times of regional strife where their is no government to answer the call of its people, it is the duty of the founder to take charge and oversee regional matters. As the other founder has illegally usurped all power within the region for himself without the consent of the moderators or citizens of the region, he shall be considered a criminal and shall not stand on equal ground in these matters. He will not participate and we will, seeing as this is a neutral session with a diversity of opinions, handle the repercussions of his actions. |

The accounts shall, be given to the people however as this does not distract the initial argument as such. The progress of moderation must continue during this argument. The return of said accounts shall only be given to Iornlands Germany so he may update the map. |

Then perhaps the validity of the argument behind removing the moderators is itself flawed? There was no opposition to the system, it was actually bringing activity and stability back to the region, until someone decided that now was the time to reintroduce democracy into a system still recovering from the removal of its last democratically elected government. To bring a real life example here as to why this doesn't work, we look to Iraq. With the toppling of the Iraqi government by the US in 2003, all government institutions halted and failed to work until an interim government was put into place to keep things running. During this time no democratic elections were held because such instability was not needed during a time of nation building, instead efforts were focused on fixing the infrastructure of the nation. Once this was completed the nation was given the go ahead to hold democratic elections once again now that the situation was stable and the institutions/outlets of the government were fixed. We are Iraq during that nation building process, we do not need democracy in a time when we're still trying to fix the very foundation of our government, the reasons why it exists in the first place. |

I am willing to peacefully let democracy take hold, then i am willing to work with it as long as it does not interfere with role play. which is why it was an issue in the first place!!! the government was the role-play and when it went silent and role-play stopped the region died.... which is why i am willing to let peaceful disillusion of the current system happen. I'm running on a mod friendly platform because i will slowly change the progress not increase it up to ten notches everyone is. |
